OPENING GOLF TOURNAMENT AT THEZHAILJAU

One of the long-expected golf events of the Eurasian Group Cup 2015, an openingtournament dedicated to another golf season, took place on May 30 at the Zhailjau Golf Resort, traditionally supported by Eurasian Group LLP.

More than 100 players took part in the openingtournament; the tournament was held for the fifth time. This year the golf players have competed for prizes in the categories Best Net and Best Gross for men and women with great enthusiasm.

Mukhtar Makulbayev and Alyona Kuznethsova became the first, Kairat Satylganov and Inna Khegai became the second, and Alexey Polozhentsev and Rita Polozhentseva became the third in the Best Net.

Maxim Vostrov and Ra Hyang won the third place, Bauyrzhan Sarkytbayev and Kim Yung Kung won the second place, and Minalla Shabbaz and Yuliya Niazaliyeva had the best score and won the first cup in the Best Gross among men and women.

Also the Nearest to the Pin и Longest Drive prizes were traditionally provided for men and women.

While the participant of the tournament competed for the right to be recognized as the best players, the invited guests were excited to use the opportunity to join the golf game in the golf clinics arranged by professional players from our club. The golf clinics is an hourly event to teach newcomers the essence and purpose of the game, to learn basic concepts and to master basic skills of the game, learn how to see the difference between types of clubs and try different techniques using the club in the game. Many golf players started their career from participation in such events.

The prize-giving ceremony was held for nominations supported by the tournament official partner Arte Di Casa Interior Salon that presented memorable gifts from Ralph Lauren and Etro Home at the dinner in the Country Club restaurant. After that the winners could share their happiness with the guests and friends in the holiday atmosphere of the Zhailjau Club House to the melody of ethnicjazz.
